They say you should never go home again, and while this reviewer might not agree with this suggestion, a visit to Eric Weisstein 's World of Astronomy site seems to reinforce this sentiment.rnThis site has been around for number of years, indeed since the end of the twentieth century. It was compiled as part of the World of Science site, which also covers chemistry, physics and scientific bibliography. Some years ago this site was one of the most valuable and useful sites for the budding physicist or astronomer to turn to. However, today when one takes a critical look at the site while there remain some elements of value; the time has long passed when this could be considered an essential primary resource.
