This updated third edition of International Relations: The Key Concepts tackles the difficult task of producing a fresh, up-to-date reference guide in the ever-moving field of international relations. The authors have done a good job of updating the text, revising some concepts and adding new ones (The Arab Spring, Neoliberalism and more), while ensuring it remains as relevant as possible. This edition builds on previous efforts, creating a quick and easy guide to concepts that, in some cases, an expert may struggle to explain clearly. For example, it includes the Kantian notion of Perpetual Peace, describing a difficult idea from a philosopher well-versed in obscuration in a relatively straightforward, succinct manner.
