Over the past few years, the object-oriented paradigm has gradually invaded the area of rea-time systems. A considerable number of successful operating system developments like CHAOS, MACH, or MARUTI Ⅱ have been reported since. Object-oriented real-time languages like RTC++ (an extension of C++), Ada95, or Real Tine Talk(based on Smalltalk) have reached decent levels of maturity.
