In no time at all, MCads gave way to NiMHs and NiMHs gave way to Li-Pos with the result that my battery collection has become predominantly Li-Po based.rnFor many, using Li-Pos has become second nature. Mind you, they still require care in handling (to the extent that some people refuse to use them) although as technical progress continues, so new types of battery are appearing boasting features that may reassure the apprehensive flyer.
