No link on Thameslink for six months

Construction work on an enclosure that is to house a new Thameslink station situated underneath what is to become St Pancras International station commenced on 11 September, and until the spring of 2005, southbound Thameslink trains have to terminate at St Pancras alongside Midland Mainline services, and northbound services finish at King's Cross Thameslink. Scheduled to open in 2007, the new station will provide a link for Eurostar passengers travelling from and to the new St Pancras International platforms as well as passengers on the new Integrated Kent Franchise trains operating on the high speed line.
