SRPS launches appeal to buy Class 37/4

The Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SRPS) has failed in its bid to buy 37409, which is residing at its Bo'ness site, after it was bought by DRS. It says it will make a future attempt to secure a 37/4. The loco was initially bought from EWS by BRE, but following the company's demise, it, along with 37403/414, was offered for sale through solicitors.
