...But Dartmoor CEP is given notice

Another emergency appeal has been launched to move a preserved EMU after the owners were given notice at their existing site. Former Lymington branch CEP 1198 has been stored at the Dartmoor Railway on an agreement which expires in May and which the owner, the EMU Preservation Society, has now been informed, will not be renewed. Agreement has been reached with the Eden Valley Railway, near Warcop, to take the unit but the owning group is now urgently trying to raise the £5,800 which the move will cost.
