Llandarcy shunters move to Wirksworth

Rail traffic at the BP Mobil Oil Llandarcy Refinery in South Wales ceased at the end of 2008 and two large 48-ton 0-6-ODH locomotives built by Thos. Hill were surplus to requirements.rnThese locomotives - TH 194V built in 1968 and TH 246V built inrn1973 - had spent their entire lives at Llandarcy and were in exceller mechanical condition although th paintwork was poor.
