RMS Locotec's hire locomotive fleet is still being moved around the country to cover operational requirements, and recent months have seen quite a few moves. RMS Locotec has lost the shunting contract at Whitemoor Yard, March, to First GBRf and at the beginning of April 08885 was moved North to PD Ports at Teesport; this move enabled Hunslet Engine 6294 to be moved over to the Cobra Railfreight site in Middlesbrough.rnHE 6294 is another locomotive issued with a Class 01 number -01573 - and this number is carried on a small plate inside the cab. The reason for this move is that the current locomotive at Cobra, English Electric 3994, requires torque converter repairs and the Hunslet has been sent there as cover.
