KESR announces diesel gala

The Kent & East Sussex Railway is to stage a two-day diesei gala on June 26/27 with visiting Class 27 D5401 from the Great Central Railway attending.rnThe 27 will line up alongside fellow BRCW loco, resident Class 33 D6570 Ashford.rnThe railway is also expecting to announce a visiting Class 14 while Class 03 shunter D2023 will also be in action as well as Ford diesel Ruston Rowntree No. 1 and the Class 108 DMU.rnAn intensive timetable is planned with 45 minute departures from Tenterden on Saturday and 30 minute departures from Tenterden on Sunday with the first train departing at 1030.
