I had a great day at the April Great Central Railway diesel gala, and three Sulzer Type 2s together was fantastic; in the dark, with lots of noise to entertain those who'd 'stayed the distance' for the last train of the day.rnThis month we have had an exclusive ride on Network Rail's Mentortest car. Test trains are one of the biggest sources of photographic contributions to my inbox, and it's understandable, considering they take loco-hauled trains to places that rarely see them. So to see inside,how some of these trains work was a real eye opener.
