A railbus which has never worked on another heritage railway since preservation in 1968 is to be the star attraction at the Llangollen Railway's Railcar gala on June 26/27.rnGerman-built railbus 79964 has worked at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway for 42 years, only leaving briefly twice, once to be turned and once to visit Doncaster Works for tyre turning - but even that was 30 years ago.rnThe railbus will be at in Wales for one weekend - and will arrive the day before, returning the day after. This will be the first visit of an AEC-engined railbus to the line.rnThe gala will also see the entry to service of Class 108 trailer 56223, which was recently obtained from the East Anglian Railway Museum and this will be paired with Class 127 51618, which will appear in a new livery.
