The charter market is settling down for both train operators and rolling stock providers. It could be argued that a little more choice is needed, although thankfully on the operation side, DRS and First GB Railfreight have both entered the market so offering an alternative to the previous duopoly of DB Schenker and West Coast Railways.rnStock provision has usually been through Riviera Trains or WCR, with smaller providers such as SRPS and Vintage Trains not 'touting' for too much work other than what they need for their own trains.rnPromoters have come and gone, with the established names, the Pathfinders and John Farrows of this world, continuing despite whatever is thrown at them.
