Class 508s move from Telford

Movement has started of some of the Class 508 third-rail EMUs which have been stored at the Donnington Railfreight terminal since last year. The 12 units, six of which were refurbished and six of which are in poor condition, having not been used since December 2006, were last in service with Southeastern. Now two of them, 508201/208, have been moved to Eastleigh Works, with the rest expected to follow shortly, although no future operator has been announced as having work for them. The move was carried out by GBRf's 66731.
