West Coast Railways' 47237 returned to traffic on July 28 when, accompanied by 57601, it ran light from Carnforth to Long Marston to collect WCR's latest acquisition, 47746 bought from the Brush Type 4 Fund. This was the first time the former Advenza DRS 47237 had worked a train since May 2009. Also returned to use in the WCR operational fleet is 47245 after 11 months on the sidelines. It leaves just 47787 Windsor Castle and 47854 under repair with 47746 likely to be the next loco returned to traffic by the charter train operator. 33029 Glen Loy is still awaiting a test run after OTMR fitment.
