More trains planned by Railtourer

Hull-based Railtourer has added some extra day trip charters to its 2011 programme for the autumn and winter. The trains will be operated by West Coast Railways using its Class 47s and 57s. October 5 sees a Lincoln to Carlisle train which calls at Retford, Worksop, Sheffield and Wakefield. It returns via the Tyne Valley line. The following Saturday, October 8, there is a Cleethorpes to Carlisle train via the Cumbrian Coast and returning via the Tyne Valley. The following Saturday, October 15, is a similar train but from Huntingdon and stations to Doncaster again to Carlisle via the Cumbrian Coast but this time returning via the West Coast Main Line.
