Class 314 makeover

The first Class 314 EMU to receive a full internal refurbish and the new Saltire livery has been released to traffic by First ScotRail. 314212 has been fitted with new seat covers and cushions and the interior has been repainted as well as receiving new flooring. All 16 of the three-car EMUs are to receive similar interior improvements at a cost of £800,000. The work was carried out at the Railcare Depot at Springburn.
