New season starts at Blaenavon

37216 and 73128 OVS Bulleid CBE opened the new season at the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway working all trains for the first three weekends, top-and-tailing 3-CEP 1198 for rolling stock. With bodywork complete on the 37, the locomotive is now in the process of being repainted and operated in green undercoat. With the new shed extension at Furnace Sidings completed 37216 should be able to be put inside during the summer for the repaint into BR green to be completed before the end of the year.
