HNRC sends locos for scrap

Several former HNRC locos have been sold for scrap. 20197 and 37898 have been taken from Long Marston to Kingsbury for disposal. 37680 has been recovered from store at Lafarge near Hope but, following removal by road, and moved to TJ Thomsons' yard at Stockton for scrapping.At Kingsbury, EMR has taken delivery of 37709 and 37886 from Millerhill along with 86226/230, 87021/027 from Long Marston whilst EMR's Attercliffe yard has received 56041/053/055/093, 56119 from Doncaster.Disposals to list during this period are 56072/093, scrapped at Attercliffe, while 87018/021/032 have been dismantled at Kingsbury.
