1. At the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway, near Skipton, 08054 has been in long term store at Bolton Abbey and is awaiting new traction motor cables as these had decayed whilst it was sat at Swinden Quarry for many years and used for shunting wagons. It is hoped that these cables will be installed by early 2015, and once back in traffic it will give a much-needed break for D3941 (08773). This 08 is currently in traffic, and received a quick repaint into BR green some time ago to prevent the rust spreading any further. Once 08054 is back in traffic it is likely that D3941 will be withdrawn for overhaul.
