The drawn out sale of Class 27 D5353 (27007) to Ed Stevenson has been concluded now that asbestos issues have been resolved. The loco is now set for a full overhaul and a return to running condition. It will remain at the MHR under the control of the new South Sulzer Group which will also take care of Mr Stevenson's 33053 which will be returning to the railway after a period on loan at the Battlefield Line.
