Heljan 33002 Sea King, 'Dutch' grey and yellow

The class 33 from Heljan has been widely discussed, particularly in relation to its roof profile. Now though, the Danish manufacturer has released the first of its retooled models of the popular Southern Region diesel-electric which feature a brand new body together with upgrades to the detail of the bogies. The retooled models concentrate on the 33/0, with the manufacturer's Class 33/1 and 33/2 remaining as they were before. The new 33/0 was announced at the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition in November 2013 and has been turned round quickly from the pre-production samples shown then to the production model shown here.
