New lathe shunters in use

The use of lathe shunters has increased greatly in the last few years, and the locos have ranged from a small design for moving a single vehicle over the lathe, to large locos for moving a complete 'train set' around the depot. The largest loco supplied to the UK so far is a Dutch-built Niteq loco that has been delivered to Eurostar for use at its Temple Mills Depot. This loco was required to move complete Eurostartrains and so a large toco was needed - a Niteq Type 8000-E, Niteq B334 built in 2012.
