The scheme to refurbish and repaint ScotRail's fleet of Alstom Class 334 EMUs is reaching its end with the admission of 334004/006 to Shields depot during the month. With the release of 334005 during August only 334012 remains to be dealt with and once this is done the whole class will be in the Saltire blue livery. The refurbishment work has also included interior upgrades and the replacement of the inner gangways as well as a full repaint. It has been jointly carried out at the depot and by Brodie Rail in Kilmamock.
