Greater Anqlia set for Class 37s?

Industry speculation is rife with reports that Greater Anglia is to turn to DRS Class 37/4s working in push-pull mode with DRS Mk 2s and DBSOs to provide cover for DMUs on rural services in Norfolk. Greater Anglia is remaining cagey on the subject, merely saying: "We are reviewing a number of options for improving the performance and resilience of our local train services. We will confirm any agreed plans once they are finalised." However reports are that staff have been to RVEL to see the DBSO under conversion and undertake initial training on the type. DRS has confirmed it is sending Mk 2s to GA. To cover for unit shortages, GA uses a three-coach set comprising two Mk 3 coaches and a DVT are top-and-tailed by DRS Class 47s but crewed by GA staff.
