Arriva Trains Wales' 175113 was damaged on January 16 when it collided with a permanent way trolley at Hadnall, near Shrewsbury. No one was injured when the 2226 Manchester-Shrewsbury hit the trolley although several railway workers, including the driver, were treated for shock. It took maintenance staff hours to remove the trolley from underneath the train and the unit was moved to the Abbey Forgate curve where work was carried out to enable transfer to Chester depot. The RAIB has launched an enquiry.
