Swanage line up announced

The Swanage Railway has announced the first confirmed guest locos for its May 9-11 diesel gala and beer festival, as well as extended it by a day to incorporate a 'Day on the Mule' special event on May 8. The initial line up is, subject to availability, Class 24 5081 from the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, Class 25 D7629 and 47292 from the Great Central Railway (Nottingham), 33202 Dennis G Robinson from the Mangapps Railway Museum (already at the line on a hire contract) and 50031 Hood from the Class 50 Alliance which is presently at nearby Eastleigh undergoing minor repairs. They will be joined by resident 33111. It is hoped more visiting locos will be added to the line up.
