Last day of the WHL 37s

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Rl Mar 14, particularly the feature about the last week of Class 37-hauled passengers on the West Highland Line in 1989. This event seems to have had little coverage in the railway press, probably because it was during a cold and very wet January! I thought it may be of interest to you to add a small bit of info as my father was photographing on the line on the final two Saturdays of the 37s. I was a year old at the time so I wasn't there! I think the article mentioned 37422 running south light engine on Saturday January 21. From my father's pictures and notes, 37422 seemed to run light as far as Crianlarich only and then took over a northbound freight, which left Bridge of Orchy before the arrival of the 0840 from Fort William behind 37405.
