LMS 10000

Bachmann's new 10000 model covers the BR green era for these locomotives with three versions being offered: 10000 in BR green with orange and black lining (Cat No. 31-995), 10000 in BR green with a part eggshell blue waistband (31-996) and 10001 in BR green with an eggshell waistband and small yellow warning panels. The livery is excellent and meets high standards. The plain green with eggshell waistband livery is quite plain on 10000, being only offset by the grey roof and white numbers - even the bufferbeams are green and black. The livery on 10001 is just that little bit more attractive with the yellow warning panels in our view. Both feature neatly printed cabside builder's plates and fine British Railways logos on the upper body.
