In its most ambitious steam event yet, the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway's April 19-21 Easter Gala will see the county's debut for Beattie well-tank 30585, on loan from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. The BR black 2-4-0 will star alongside two other guests: Preston Corporation-style Bagnall 0-6-0ST 2680 Courageous, making its first trip away from its Ribble Steam Railway home, and former Acton Lane Power Station, London, RSH 0-4-OST 7386 on hire from the GWR Preservation Group. Completing the quartet at the Ludborough event will be resident 0-4-0ST Peckett Fulstow No. 2.
