Liebherr To Overhaul HVAC Units Of ETR 700 High Speed Trains

Liebherr-Transportation Systems has been commissioned by AnsaldoBreda S.p.A.,Naples (Italy) to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for 39 cabcooling and 157 saloon air-conditioning systems on board 19 ETR 700 high speedtrains. Each ETR 700 train consists of eight cars and two driver’s cabs and eightsaloon HVAC units are installed in each car.The air conditioning systems have been designed and manufactured by Liebherr.In addition to mandatory examinations, the certified service technicians fromLiebherr-Transportation Systems will also perform on-site repairs on therefrigerant circuits of the air conditioning systems. These measures will furtherenhance the safety, availability and reliability of the HVAC units and consequentlythe travel comfort for both, passengers and the drivers.
