Kenya Railways Signs Contract For Second Hand DMU

Following a process that began in December 2018 between Mallorca Rail Services (SFM) and Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC), to purchase 11 dual diesel units (plus a trailer) the deal is now signed! The sale of the 11 units to Kenya Railways is valued at €9.6 million, which includes the price of units, spare parts, wheel profiling and training of Kenya Railways staff by the internal staff of SFM. The Kenya state railway company will pay 20% of the amount at the signing of the contract and the rest at the time of moving the different units.
