Successful Commissioning Of New Load Levelling System Made By Liebherr

The commissioning of the first new load levelling system made by Liebherr for Chicago's Light Rail System was accomplished successfully at CRRC Sifang in Qingdao (China) in fall 2019. Liebherr-Transportation Systems has successfully completed the commissioning of its new hydraulic level control systems for the new 7000 series light rail vehicles of Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), built and supplied by CRRC. The levelling system was commissioned at the CRRC Qingdao site on a near-series prototype. Liebherr-Transportation’s development team thus made a significant contribution to the successful and on-time delivery of the vehicles to CRRC’s customer.
