Each month, AREMA features one of our committee chairs. We are pleased to announce that the January featured chair is Glen Smith, chair of Committee 6 - Buildings & Support Facilities. AREMA: Why did you decide to choose a career in railway engineering? Smith: A career in railway engineering chose me. I was looking for a new career opportunity and a change of venue and was fortunate enough to find both in a company that was able to utilize my experience in the railroad industry.
