Bechtel, Transcend and Jacobs chosen as Crossrail partners

Jacobs Engineering has been announced as Crossrail project representative. The firm will provide oversight support to project sponsors the Department for Transport and Transport for London, to ensure that Crossrail Ltd delivers the project on rnschedule, within budget and to the agreed standard.rnA consortium called Transcend is to be the Crossrail programme partner and Bechtel is the project delivery partner. Bechtel will oversee delivery of the core central tunnelled section rnof Crossrail, as well as managing the design process. Transcend, which is made up of AECOM, CH2M Hill, and the Nichols Group, will help deliver the overall programme.
