Telford Terminal Opens In May

A test train consisting of a DRS Class 66 loco and a single container wagon arrived at the new Telford International Freight Terminal on February 10. Its task was to run over all the track and points that have been laid from Wellington into the former MoD depot at Donnington, on the north side of Telford.rnThe train safely negotiated the five reception sidings where trains up to 500 m long will be split before being shunted into the freight terminal operated by John G Russell (Transport) Ltd. The track here was also checked.
