SWT extends ITSO trial

Following over a year of experience from an ITSO smartcard pilot scheme on the Staines - Windsor & Eton Riverside branch, SWT is implementing the ticketing system on its main lines. The pilot began on November 2008, with a small number of season ticket holders able to use smartcards at five stations on the branch.rnRoll-out of the extended trial has been in two stages, starting with stations between Staines and Wokingham. This was followed last week by stations between Basingstoke and Weymouth, including the Lymington Pier branch and the Isle of Wight.
