London Gateway works on hold

Although contracts have already been placed for clearance of the former Shellhaven refinery site on the Thames Estuary, and also for construction of a deep-water quay, RBI has learned that DP World has put other works required for its London Gateway container port on hold for 'at least a year' because the recession has cut imports to the UK.
