HS2 report is delivered

On December 31 High Speed 2 Ltd delivered its report on options for providing additional capacity between London and the West Midlands plus proposals for a potential high-speed rail network. Presumably for news management reasons, Transport Secretary Lord Adonis had announced receipt of the report the day before, predicting that 2010 will be 'the year of high-speed rail in the UK'.
