Reflecting similar programmes at First Great Western, under the Greater Anglia direct award Abel-lio is to provide over 1 600 additional standard class seats on weekday London - Norwich services by reconfiguring the seating in seven Mk (III) catering vehicles. Replacement of the current 24 first class seats in each vehicle with 44 standard class seats is due to be completed by October 2016, when the long-term replacement Greater Anglia franchise is scheduled to start.
