Period 7 sees PPM rise but MAA fall

Network Rail reports that the national average PPM score for Period 7 to October 15 was 88.8%, up by 1.4 percentage points from P6 2016-17 (RB1519 p4). At 87.9%, the national average MAA PPM score was fractionally loweT than the 88.0% reported in P6. The national average right-time score in P7 was up by 0.9 points on the P6 score of 62.3%. However, the right-time MAA was down by 0.1 points from the previous period, ending P7 at 62.8% and continuing the decline seen since the end of 2014-15.
