Web streaming. I have received one or two emails on this. Most of you seem to find web streaming useful for checking your repeater access.- The problem is links with a 20 second or more delay, making it hard to make adjustments. GB3GG has changed it's web stream to Ustream.TV which has lower latency of 2 seconds or so. This is interesting has great potential. We can now see ATV repeaters in the USA, although only one so far, but it has the potential to open up our world. It might even enable linking of ATV repeaters via the internet! No, I am not sure we are allowed to do it yet, but if we can solve the technical problems, come up with a system that works and has secure switching (I am sure this must be possible) then we can start asking for changes to be made to enable it.
