Genome Campus Grows on All Fronts: State-of-the-art computational facilities and a seamless integration into the surrounding landscape combine to form the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute's new Genome Campus

Set among the rolling hills and valleys of the rural Cambridgeshire landscape is the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Hinxton, Cambridge, UK. World-renowned for its contributions to the Human Genome Project, the Institute has doubled the size of its Genome Campus in order to launch its ambitious post-Human Genome Project scientific mission. This massive expansion, along with a series of advances in laboratory design, has made experts stand up and take notice.
