If you hold an ASQ certification-any ASQ certification-it's likely your employer is paying you more than if you weren't certified. As Figure 1 shows, average salaries for U.S. respondents are higher for those who hold quality-related certifications. And the more the better, it seems-up to five. Those who hold five ASQ certifications earn an average of $121,420 a year.The better your certification matches your job title, the greater the salary you receive. Respondents with a job title of manager who hold the manager of quality/organizational excellence certification, for example, earn a hefty 16.2% more, on average, than those managers without that certification, Table 1 (p. 34) shows.
