12 Organizations Under Final Review For Baldrige Honor

The Baldrige Award Judges Panel will announce this month whether there are any recipients for the award this year after the panel selected 12 organizations for site visits.The organizations are based in nine states. Six organizations are in the healthcare category, one in education, three nonprofits and two small businesses.The site visit evaluation teams-composed of Baldrige examiners-included experts in each sector.The teams spent several days at their assigned organizations' sites, interviewing employees at all levels of the workforce to clarify and verify information submitted in the award applications.In November, the panel reviewed the findings and determined which organizations to recommend to the secretary of commerce for the award.
