An Inquiry into ASQ Partnership Development Practices: Report Summary and Recommendations

An inquiry titled "The ASQ Partnership Strategy, An Examination" was commissioned by chair Ron Asbury and conducted by David Luther, Maureen Bisognano (ASQ treasurer and executive vice president/COO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement) and Gene Barker (ASQ Fellow, certified quality engineer, certified quality manager and Boeing Technical Fellow) in late 2000 and early 2001. The charter for the inquiry asked for a study of the case history of two ASQ affiliations, the Six Sigma Alliance and Quality Power.
