With a complicated supply chain that spanned four continents, an organization in the solar materials and semiconductor industry was required to find new supply sources to meet regional demands and market shifts. The $2.5 billion organization's goal was to be strategically positioned for the changes expected over the next two years. It approached Genpact, a business process management consultancy, to help streamline its planning function.
