Koehler rebuilds PM 1 in Kehl

Germany's specialty paper manufacturer Koehler Paper Group has placed an order with Voith for the rebuild of the carbonless copy paper and thermal paper machine PM 1 at the company's site in Kehl. The rebuild aims at improving the profile quality of the speciality papers and increasing the energy efficiency of the production line, Voith said. The rebuild is scheduled for completion in July/August this year and will involve eight days of downtime on the PM 1, Koehler Paper explained.
