Stora Enso starts renewable materials cooperation

Stora Enso and Finnish start-up Sulapac are to jointly drive the development of renewable and biodegradable packaging materials and have signed an agreement for the purpose. The agreement enables Stora Enso to use materials and technologies licensed from Sulapac to develop caps and closures for liquid packaging that are completely made from renewable materials and are fully recyclable as well as biodegradable. The companies will strive to develop joint solutions also for food packaging and consumer electronics.
