This month we travel to the north-central corner of the province of Quebec,to an area that is no stranger to the forestry industry,the Saguenay-Lac St-Jean region.The Saint-Felicien Kraft Pulp mill is a state-of-the-art NBSK pulp operation that had its start in the late 1970s,in a region with a historical connection to the natural resources that surround it.We also meet Florian Thivierge,the general manager of the mill and a native to the area,who boasts both of his mill operation and the surrounding magnificence of the Saguenay.We explore the past,the present and the future through his eyes.
